The Prime Minister will address Columbia University

A special seminar titled ‘Possibilities and Challenges’ will be held on Thursday (September 21) at the world-renowned Columbia University in New York City. Organized by Bangladesh’s top daily newspaper Bangladesh Pratid, the seminar will start at 10 am and continue till 1 pm.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the shaper of changed Bangladesh, will deliver the chief guest speech at the seminar chaired by Bangladesh Pratidin editor Naeem Nizam.

Minister of Foreign Affairs will be a special guest in the seminar. AK A Momen. The keynote speech will be presented by the former governor of Bangladesh Bank and Emeritus Professor of Dhaka University. Atiur Rahman.

New York State University economics professor. The panelists of the seminar moderated by Virupaksha Pal are the recently retired Chief Economist of the United Nations Economic Affairs Research Team. Nazrul Islam, professor of economics at Colorado University. Farida Khan, Professor of Columbia University. Dr. Michael S. Steckler, internationally renowned water expert. Sufian A. Khandkar and Professor Golam Matbar, Director of the Department of Social Work at Monmouth University, New Jersey. At this time, State Senator (Georgia) Sheikh Rahman, State Senator (Connecticut) will give their observations. Masudur Rahman, State Representative (New Hampshire) Abul B Khan and Melbourne City Mayor Mahabubul Alam Taib. Students will also be in the audience of this very important seminar due to the need of time.

Distinguished people including brave freedom fighters have been invited. As the number of seats is limited, only invitees will be allowed access. It should be noted that in the beginning there is an opportunity to exchange goodies along with breakfast for an hour. The seminar will conclude after lunch.
