All eyes on Mushfiq and Afif

Mushfiqur Rahim is not the same as Afif Hossain. They are two different cricketers. Mushfiqur Rahim is a prominent Bangladeshi cricketer who has been a part of the Bangladesh national cricket team for many years. Afif Hossain is another talented Bangladeshi cricketer who has also represented the national team.

As for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season, the player draft is currently taking place. The final composition of the teams for the BPL’s tenth season will be determined based on this draft. Several franchises have already made significant signings.

For example, the Rangpur Riders have secured the services of foreign players such as Babar Azam, Wanindu Hasaranga, Brandon King, and Ehsanullah. They have also retained local talents like Hasan Mahmud, Mehedi Hasan Hasan, Nurul Hasan, and Najmul Hossain Shanto.

The current BPL champions, Cumilla Victorians, will have Liton Das and Mustafizur Rahman in their squad. They have also signed Tawhid Hridoy, who played for Sylhet Strikers last season.

Sylhet Thunder has retained Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and Nazmul Hossain. They have also kept Mehedi Hasan Miraz on their team.

Chattogram Challengers have signed Pakistan’s all-rounder Shoaib Malik and pacer Mohammad Haris. They have also retained players like Soumya Sarkar, Ziaur Rahman, and Nihaduzzaman.

Khulna Tigers have retained Nasum Ahmed, Nahidul Islam, and Mahmudul Hasan Joy. They have also signed Anamul Haque on a direct contract.

Dhaka, a new team in the BPL, has included Taskin Ahmed, Arafat Sunny, and Shariful Islam in their squad. They have directly contracted Mosaddek Hossain.

These are some of the player movements and signings for the upcoming BPL season. The final composition of the teams will become clearer as the player draft progresses.
