Faridpur: On October 10, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the rail link to Faridpur via Padma bridge. And that special trial train carrying the Prime Minister has left for Dhaka from Faridpur under strict police security.
The train left Faridpur at around 12:15 PM on Friday (October 06).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will come to Faridpur Bhanga by riding this train, said Government Inspector of Bangladesh Railway (GIBR) Pakshi Division of Railways. Ruhul Quader Azad. Besides, this special train carrying the Prime Minister will pass through the Padma Bridge several times as part of the trial.
Ruhul Quader Azad also said, the special train with 13 coaches and 2 power engines left from Pakshi crossed Faridpur railway station on Friday (06 October) around 12:15 PM. Later, this special train reaches Mawa end by crossing Padma Bridge through Bhanga Junction of Faridpur.
