Invitation of Tony Blair, Information and Communication Technology State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak Went to Belgium.

Dhaka: Junaid Ahmed Palak, the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, embarked on a two-day visit to Belgium on Monday (October 23) on a special invitation from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Shahidul Alam Majumdar, a communication officer of the ICT Division, stated that during his visit, Minister Palak will participate in the “Tech Accelerator Program 2023” organized by the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, on October 24.

At the event, the Minister will take part in panel discussions on global and regional guidelines on social media.

The Accelerator Program includes participants from 31 countries worldwide, including Bangladesh, the UK, Angola, Moldova, Zambia, Singapore, Morocco, Albania, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, Bulgaria, Risa, Greece, Ukraine, Macau, and Romania. Representatives from various entities, including ministers, members of parliament, and government and non-government organizations, will participate in it.

He is expected to return to his country on the 26th of the month.
