Israeli Police attack on the Palestinians

Occupying Israeli police forces have again attacked Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem. Police fired grenades and water cannons at Palestinians overnight on Monday.

Israeli media reported, clashes broke out between settlers and Palestinians on Monday evening. At that time stones and chairs were thrown between the two sides.

Palestinian Red Crescent authorities says, at least 20 Palestinians have been injured in attacks by police and Israeli settlers. Israeli police have also detained several Palestinians. Among the injured, 16 were injured by pepper spray and tear gas, while an elderly man was injured by a head injury.

For more than two months now, Israeli police and extremist Jews have repeatedly attacked Palestinians in East Jerusalem, Al-Aqsa and Sheikh Jarrah. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a mosque in the northern city of Mosul.

Hamas launched rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza on May 10 after a series of attacks on extremist Jews and Israeli police during Ramadan. Israel then carried out massive bombings in Gaza. More than 250 Palestinians, including several children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in Gaza during the 11 day conflict. And 13 people were killed in Hamas attacks in Israel.
