Awami League will hold a peace and development procession in Dhaka on July 18 and 19, said the party’s general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.
He also said that Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a rally at the district level from next August.
Bridges Minister said this during a meeting with the president and general secretaries of the party’s subsidiary organizations at the Awami League president’s political office in Dhanmondi on Friday (July 14) afternoon.
Obaidul Quader said, from now on, the title of the Awami League party rally will be Peace and Development Rally. On July 18, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League will hold a peace and development procession from the capital’s Engineer Institution to Dhanmondi No. 32.
He also said that on July 19, Dhaka Metropolitan North Awami League will hold a peace and development procession from Sat Rasta Junction to Mohakhali in Tejgaon. Besides, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hold a rally at the district level from next August.
